Meet our Youth Work Trustee

Mike, our youthworker for the past 8 years left us for a new job in January 2026.

We continue to operate with our team of Session workers and volunteers under the leadership of Sarah Magee who is a Trustee of the charity with lifetime of youthwork experience. She says:

"I have spent more than 15 years as a Youth and Community Worker for the Army Welfare Services. I have a wealth of experience and joined as a trustee in January 2026 to support the work of Sandhurst Youth.

My passion is working with young people and creating opportunities to support their development. As a Senior Community Development Worker with Army Welfare Services, I am responsible for a diverse team that support the local military communities. We establish creative and progressive programs in collaboration with communities and young people focusing on the development of social education programs and generic activities that are responsive to local needs.

We create and provide opportunities for young people, ensuring they are at the centre of all decision making."
